-
The General Assembly
The Model UN General Assembly simulates the structure and functions of the real United Nations General Assembly. It is the main deliberative body where country delegations debate the Scenario, propose solutions, and negotiate resolutions.
-
Preliminary Statements
A preliminary statement is a 30-second introductory speech that each delegation gives at the beginning of the Model UN conference in March. It is used to define the delegation’s general goal relative to the conference scenario, acting as an agenda setting tool for your time at the conference.
-
Position Papers
The position paper is a 1.5-page proposal written by each delegation, addressing the scenario from the perspective of the country they represent.
Writing a position paper gives your delegation the opportunity to thoroughly understand your country's stance on the scenario topic, ensuring you can effectively represent it at the March conference.

Messaging System

Committees
Each student delegate is pre-assigned to serve on one of twelve specialized Model UN Committees that focus on specific areas of international governance.
-
Resolutions
A Model UN resolution is a formal document that outlines the actions or policies proposed by a country or committee to address the Scenario, drafted and debated by delegations in the Model United Nations conference.
